After eight years in abu dhabi photography and videography, I’ve learned one thing for sure: the smoother the photos look, the more chaos I’ve probably survived behind the scenes.
My name is Aman, and if there’s one place that truly fuels my passion, it’s ADNEC Centre. I absolutely love shooting exhibitions—big, small, tech-focused events, luxury-driven, creative, corporate—every single one has a different heartbeat. And that’s exactly what keeps me hooked.
People often tell me, “Your job must be fun—you just take pictures all day.”
And yes, it is fun. But what they don’t see is everything that happens before, after, and in between each click.
Early Mornings, Empty Halls
My day usually starts before the sun fully wakes up. I arrive at ADNEC with my gear, a strong coffee, and a clear goal: understand the event before it begins. There’s something magical about walking into the massive halls while crews are setting up and exhibitors are doing final touches.
This is when I start planning.
Which halls have challenging lighting?
Where is the branding placed?
Where will people naturally gather?
Clients rarely see this part, but for me, it sets the tone for the entire shoot. Good photography isn’t just pressing a button—it’s preparation.
Why I Love What I Do
At ADNEC, every exhibition is different. Different industries, cultures, designs, ideas, people—it’s like stepping into a new world every week.
That’s why I love shooting exhibitions.
They’re fun, interesting, vibrant, and full of surprises.
And while clients see the final polished gallery, behind it is my passion, experience, sweat, creativity, and a whole lot of running around with a camera.
This is my life as Aman, an event photographer—and I wouldn’t trade it for anything
